Centro Hispano Milwaukee (CHM) is a bilingual, multi-service center that serves several thousand individuals and families each year.  The majority of program participants are from zip codes 53204 (40%) and 53215 (39%).  In general, approximately 90% of clients are Latinos, and 80% are under the poverty level.  Programs and services strive to enhance the community member's ability to be self-sufficient.

Our services are provided bilingually, in Spanish and English. CHM dates back to 1964, and it is the first and longest serving Latino organization in the state of Wisconsin.  Funding comes from federal and state grant programs, foundations, business and industry, as well as donations.  Its board of directors consists of leaders in the Milwaukee area that volunteer to serve the community.
